The occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation 29 CFR 1910.1030 requires employers to set up an Exposure Control Plan to protect employees from on‐the‐job exposure to blood and body fluids which may contain bloodborne pathogens. This course is designed to provide students with the information they need to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens.

 

Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the automated external defibrillator. The basic first aid portion of the course covers patient assessment, bleeding and fracture management, cardiac emergencies and other acute injuries and illnesses. Students receive a credentialed course completion card good for 2 years.Program designed for general public. No medical background required

First Aid Basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more) Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more) Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more) Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature-related and poison emergencies).

This course is for licensed or nonlicensed healthcare providers

This class includes all the requirements for AHA BLS certification. An exam and skills assessment are part of the curriculum.  Students receive a course completion card good for 2 years.

Must complete BLS HEARTCODE PORTION!  After completing the online portion of this course you must complete hands on session to obtain a course completion card. Link provided https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls.  This class includes all of the elearning requirements for AHA BLS certification. Students will receive a 2 yr course completion certification upon completion of the skills portion.

Our Pet program was created for the Public and reviewed by a Nationally Certified Veterinarian Technician. It is designed to cover the most common injuries that pet owners most often see . Students will be encouraged to practice on manikins as part of the training.

This course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to:
 
* Understand and maintain your pet's well-being
* Recognize warning signs and symptoms of pain or illness in your pet
* Effectively use a Vet Visit Log
* Perform CPR on your pet
* Administer basic first aid to your pet in emergency situations before professional veterinary care is available
