AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED
Note: This class is NOT for Healthcare Professionals
 
Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR , use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students receive a credentialed course completion card (eCard) good for 2 years. It will be sent to the email address entered during registration.
 
You are required by the AHA to have access to the current textbook for the course before, during, and after the class. The Heartsaver® CPR AED Student Workbook eBook is included with the purchase of your class; you will receive an email from eLearning.heart.org  with the access code- sent to the email address entered during registration. 
 

 

AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Combo Class

This program is designed for the general public. Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The basic First Aid portion of the course covers patient assessment, bleeding and fracture management, cardiac emergencies and other acute injuries and illnesses. Students receive a credentialed course completion card (eCard) good for 2 years. The eCard will be sent to the email address entered during registration.

You are required by the AHA to have access to the current textbook for the course before, during, and after the class. The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Student Workbook eBook is included with the purchase of this program. You will receive an email from eLearning@heart.org with the access code- sent to the email address entered during registration.

 

AHA Heartsaver First Aid

This AHA Heartsaver course covers:

  • First Aid Basics including scene safety, identifying the problem, calling for help and more
  • Medical emergencies including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more
  • Injury emergencies including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more
  • Environmental emergencies including actions for bites and stings,  temperature-related and poison emergencies

. Upon completion, students will receive electronic course completion certification( eCard) valid for two years. Cards will be sent to the email address entered during registration.

You are required by the AHA to have access to the current textbook for the course before, during, and after the class. The Heartsaver® First Aid Student Workbook eBook is included with the purchase of the course. You will receive the access code in an email from elearning.heart.org- sent to email address entered during registration.

BLS for Healthcare Providers Refresher Course

This course is for Licensed or Nonlicensed Healthcare Professionals

This course is designed for doctors, nurses, individuals in medical professions or clinical areas. It is also suitable for nursing students and healthcare providers who need to renew their current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification.
 
The course covers:
* CPR for adults, children, and infants
* Two-person CPR with Bag Valve Mask (BVM)
* Choking
* Automated External Defibrillator use (AED)

This class includes all the requirements for AHA BLS certification. An exam and skills assessment are part of the curriculum.  Upon completion students will receive an electronic course completion card (eCard) good for 2 years. ECard will be sent to email address entered during registration.
