Mandatory pretest required. Student must get 70% or above.

Take pretest, print immediately after, and bring to office at class time.

No charge to student.

Student will be sent study materials from PPM for class preparation.

Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, Infant CPR use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the automated external defibrillator. Students receive a credentialed course completion card good for 2 years.
 

 

Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the automated external defibrillator. The basic first aid portion of the course covers patient assessment, bleeding and fracture management, cardiac emergencies and other acute injuries and illnesses. Students receive a credentialed course completion card good for 2 years.Program designed for general public. No medical background required

First Aid Basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more) Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more) Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more) Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature-related and poison emergencies).

This course is for licensed or nonlicensed healthcare providers

This class includes all the requirements for AHA BLS certification. An exam and skills assesment are part of the curriculum.  Students receive a course completion card good for 2 years.
